Ledger for butcher shop/meat locker, 1885-1890.

Business ledger for unnamed business listing meat and ice sales for 1885-1886 and 1888-1890. Accounts are for named individuals and several businesses: Hotel Decatur, Mosley Restaurant, Central Motel, Thompson Drug Store, Macon House, Borngesser & Wade, and an establishment simply labeled "Stockade." Includes alphabetic index of accounts on first few pages, and accounts follow. Numerous military names appear in the ledger as purchasers of meat and ice, several of whom were at one time part of the Seventh Infantry (in 1885-1890, the 7th was stationed in Dakota, Minnesota, and Wyoming).
